Voor de 'Cards and Tins' reeks op mijn blog maakte een kaartje geïnspireerd op dit kleine blikje.

For the 'Cards and Tins' series on my blog I made a card inspired by this small tin.

De achtergrond gekleurd met Distress Stain 'Peeled Paint' en dat bewerkt met water. De bruine stippen zijn gemaakt met een sjabloon en Distress Inkt 'Walnut Stain'.

I colored the background with Distress Stain 'Peeled Paint' and put some water on top. Made the brown dots with a mask and Distress Ink 'Walnut Stain'.

De poezen zijn gestempeld met Distress Inkt 'Iced Spruce'.

Stamped the cats with Distress Ink 'Iced Spruce'.

Een stuk of 2 ondergrondjes gemaakt voor ik het goeie te pakken had. Het bruin/groene strookje heb ik afgeknipt van zo'n probeersel. 

Een kroontje geknipt uit wit papier en geëmbossed met WOW embossingpoeder 'Metallic Gold Rich'.

Made a few backgrounds before I was happy with the result. The small strip of paper shows such a 'practice background'.

Cut a crown out of a scrap of paper and heat embossed it with WOW embossing powder 'Metallic Gold Rich'.

Nog een strookje gekleurd met Distress Inkt 'Old Paper' en de wens gestempeld met 'Peeled Paint'.

Colored a strip of paper with Distress Ink 'Old Paper' and stamped the text with 'Peeled Paint'.

AJ Challenge #33: Color Challenge/Kleuren Uitdaging

Alweer een nieuwe maand, dus tijd voor een nieuwe uitdaging hier op Art Journey Design Team Blog. 

Deze maand ben ik - Anneke - aan de beurt om het thema van de uitdaging te kiezen. Een kleurenchallenge hadden we nog niet dus ben ik even mijn foto archief ingedoken....

De opdracht: laat je inspireren door de kleuren van onderstaande foto om een kaart of ander project te maken.

  De deadline voor deze uitdaging is 28 mei. Dan wordt er onder de deelnemers een willekeurige winnaar gekozen die een kadobon van Art Journey ter waarde van 10 euro ontvangt.

Voorwaarden om te kunnen winnen zijn:

-Een nieuwe kaart op je blog of Flickr...plaatsen met een link naar onze uitdaging.

-Een directe link naar je werk plaatsen bij Inlinkz onderdaan dit bericht.

Dance In Your Heart

Here's another card I made with a new Art Journey (Silhouette2) stamp, mixed with older stamps.

Weer een nieuwe Art Journey stempel (Silhouette2) gebruikt op deze kaart, samen met oudere stempels.

On a Distress Ink background I stamped the sheet music with Distress Ink and the Silhouette with Ranger Archival Ink #Jet Black.  I cut out a heart shape to show the textured cardstock underneath.

Looks like the Silhouette2 sheet was popular at the Art Specially event, it is temporarily out of stock.

Bladmuziek gestempeld op een achtergrondje van Distress Inkt, en de silhouette stempel met Ranger Archival #Jet Black afgedrukt.  Een hartvorm uit de achtergrond gesneden zodat je de onderliggende kleur ziet.

De Silhouette2 set was blijkbaar populair op het Art Specially event, want ze is tijdelijk uitverkocht.

You can Dance anywhere...

Another card made with the new stampsheet from Art Journey Silhouette 2. Just like de previous card I wet the card first with a mister and then put distrss stains on it. Because it is still wet the colours will blend beautifully. After drying I used a template from The Crafters Workshop with the stars and different colours Distress Ink. Some parts are embossed with a glitter embossingpowder.

Nog een kaartje gemaakt met de geweldige nieuwe stempelsheet van Art Journey Silhoutte 2

Net zoals de voorgaande kart eerst weer de kaart nat gemaakt met een mister en daarop stains verwerkt. Doordat het papier nat is lopen de kleuren erg mooi in elkaar over. Na droging heb ik er de sterren van een template van The Crafters Workshop op verwerkt met distress inkt in verschillende kleuren en wat deeltjes geembossed met een glitterembossingpoeder.

 

I stamped the little dancer with Ancient Page Coal Black. The star behind her head I coloured and accentuated with Polychromo's from Faber Castell, so that it would lighten up n the background. The music keys I stamped randomly around the little dancer, and the text was stamped on a seperate piece of paper with Ancient Page Coal Black.

Ik heb het danseresje gestempeld met Ancient Page Coal Black. De ster achter het hoofdje in- en bij gekleurd met Faber Castell Polychrtomo's, zodat het oplicht in de achtergrond. De muzieksleutel willekeurig gestempeld rondom en de tekst op een apart stukje met zwarte inkt.

 

On the aquablue background I stamped the notes with Distress Ink Tumbled Galss en sponged the egdes with Distress Broken China

Op de aquablauwe achtergrond heb ik de muziekbalken gestempeld met Tumbled Glass en de randjes gesponst met Broken China

Een werkje dat ik maakte met de nieuwe Silhouette 2 stempelset.

Here's another project I've made with the new Silhouette 2 stamp set.

Een dunne canvas in kaartformaat als basis genomen.

Worked on a card size canvas.

Eerst stukjes gescheurd papier gekleefd. Daarna cirkels gemaakt met reliëfpasta.

After glueing torn paper to the canvas I made circles with molding paste and a template.

Het geheel gekleurd met Golden Fluid Acrylics en Acryl Inkt. Het silhouet op de achterkant van een gelli print gestempeld en uitgeknipt.

Did the coloring with Golden Fluid Acrylics and Acrylic Inks. Stamped the silhouette on the back of a gelli print and cut it out.

 Teksten en stippen gestempeld, ruitjes gemaakt dmv een sjabloon...

Stamped text and dots on the background and did some sponging.
